Musaïque
Four women who have been good friends and professional singers for many years decided to form this vocal quartet in 2023.
In honour of their friend and superb musician, Simon Leclerc, Musaïque will sing four of his arrangements of well-loved songs: Both Sides Now, Le Ciel se marie avec la mer, Let's Give Them Something to Talk About, Petit matin, as well as A la claire fontaine with the wonderful male vocal quartet QUARTOM.
Monique Fauteux
Back-up singer and keyboard player Monique Fauteux has been part of the Quebec song landscape for many years, her association with the legendary band Harmonium certainly being remembered as her first big break.
In recent years, Monique became a faithful collaborator to Judi Richards and Sylvie Tremblay, with whom she shared centre stage in the «Un zest de jazz au Zest» concert, which was also presented at the Montreal International Jazz Festival.
Kerry-Anne Kutz
Kerry-Anne Kutz, composer and singer, performs in a wide range of styles from classical music to jazz. Kerry-Anne has sung at the Festival international de jazz de Montréal with the Montreal Vocal Jazz Quartet, Le Trio de Jazz Guy St-Onge, and the Valentino Orchestra, at the Festival Choral Mondial, at the Ottawa Chamberfest, at the Festival of the Sound, and on radio and television. She also sang on the movie track as the voice of Jenny Lind in the film “Barnum”.
As the first woman to become a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Band, Kerry-Anne sang throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, Mexico, Singapore, Australia, and India.
She earned a Masters degree in voice from the Université de Montréal. As well as being a fluent speaker of French and English, Kerry-Anne has completed intensive studies in German and Spanish. She has recorded 14 albums, two of which with the Montreal record company Productions XXl: The Juliet Letters and Kurt Weill From Berlin to New York. Kerry-Anne will release two new albums of original songs in 2024.
Recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Canada 150 Medal, Kerry-Anne is the Artistic Director of the Festival de la Voix and the Art Songs Project of Canada.
Julie Leblanc
Julie Leblanc has been working as a professional singer since 1987. A compassionate person and excellent singer, Julie approaches all of her work with equal passion et conviction. Pop, jazz, R&B, or chanson française, she sings them all with ease and artistry.
Because of her versatility, she has attracted the attention of some of Quebec’s best-known artists such as Ginette Reno, Isabelle Boulay, France D’Amour, Lara Fabian, and Garou, and has sung with them on stage, in studio, and on television.
Julie is presently pursuing a career on several fronts: in studio recording jingles, over-dubbing, back-up singing, performing with Ensemble Bémol 9, and as a voice teacher of pop music at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), since 2003.
Catherine Léveillé
As a professional singer, Catherine Léveillé has a wealth of experience on stage, on television, and in the recording studio.
As a music student at Cégep St-Laurent, she immediately earned a place in the renowned ‘A capella’ Ensemble of Radio-Canada, in the Tudor Singers, and in the choruses of the Opéra de Montréal and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. Catherine also sang in the Festival International de Jazz and on several television shows with the Montreal Vocal Jazz Quartet under the direction of Simon Leclerc.
She soon became a sought-after back-up singer and collaborated with artists such as Ginette Reno and Lara Fabian on some of the largest stages in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
Catherine’s voice was heard on hundreds of jingles on both radio and television as well as in animated film and TV theme songs for children. On television she sang with many artists for a variety of programs, galas, telethons and publicity ads.
Her versatility, experience, and professionalism makes Catherine a rare entity as a singer and voice-over artist.
